Dr. Grace Cortes-Stefanovic

OWNER, OPTOMETRIC PHYSICIAN

Dr. Grace Cortes-Stefanovic, O.D.

Dr. Cortes grew up in a healthcare family full of nurses and doctors. While volunteering in hospitals herself, she developed an interest in the eye. She decided to go to optometry school, and she hasn’t looked back since! Now, Dr. Cortes is proud to help her patients see their very best as the owner and operator of her own clinic, Grandview Optometry.

Dr. Cortes grew up in Southern California since the age of eight. Her optometry journey started when she signed on at her local eye doctor’s office in a Costco, where she worked as a receptionist throughout optometry school. After graduating with her degree, she returned to that same Costco office, but now as an associate doctor.

Dr. Cortes moved to Washington a few years later, and within eight months was offered a practice lease inside Costco. It had been her goal since optometry school to own a practice inside a Costco, and she made it happen! That was in 2015, and Dr. Cortes has been helping patients here ever since. She especially likes the fast-paced nature of the day and getting to know her patients one-on-one. 

Away from work, Dr. Cortes likes painting, collecting legos, gardening, and spending time with her family. She and her husband have two girls. The family shares their home with their two dogs: Gizmo, a Yorkie-Tzu who thinks he’s a Rottweiler, and a happy-go-lucky Chocolate Lab named Brownie.

Dr. Sandy Cho

Dr. Sandy Cho, O.D.

Dr. Sandy Cho has always been fascinated by the medical world. When she realized there was a way for her to become a medical professional while helping others to improve their day-to-day vision problems, she knew it was the perfect path! Dr. Cho is an Optometric Physician with the Grandview Optometry team and looks forward to helping you and your family see clearly.

Dr. Cho grew up on Long Island in the suburbs of New York City. She moved to the Seattle area with her husband more than 20 years ago. Dr. Cho completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan before heading to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry to earn her Doctorate. She joined Grandview Optometry in 2015, and has been at integral part of the practice ever since.

Dr. Cho’s favorite part of her job is what she learns from patients. She’s picked up cooking tips, gardening advice, travel recommendations, and much more!

When she’s not at work, Dr. Cho can be found traveling around the Pacific Northwest watching her children play premier soccer.

Dr. Jerry Tom, O.D.

Dr. Jerry Tom, O.D.

Dr. Tom grew up in Southern California with his parents, both of whom are from mainland China, and his three brothers. When he was eight years old, he visited the eye doctor and discovered he was suffering from nearsightedness. The experience not only helped him see better, but it also piqued his interest in the field of optometry. That childhood interest developed into a lifelong passion and ultimately a storied career as an experienced and well-respected optometrist.

Dr. Tom graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1984, making him the first in his family to graduate from a university. He spent the next six years working in Chicagoland before relocating to the Seattle area, where he leased an office with Davis Optical. When that office closed due to Covid, Dr. Tom joined the Grandview Optometry team in June of 2022.
